NEST 51 differs from the usual art installation in many ways. Not the least because it's scattered, all over the globe. It's everywhere. All individual components (artworks) that make up NEST 51 remain dormant with their respective owner. Patiently. Until the time is right.

Until... the Queen has arrived.

Like impatient bees, all individual components move towards this new location, which even the owners were unaware of. A rhythmic swarm sets into motion, coming from all directions, giving birth to a new occurrence of NEST 51. As a visitor you can witness this unique process taking place.

Every occurrence of NEST 51 invites to reflect on a specific theme, often introduced by a guest speaker and guided by multimedia assets (light, sound, visuals) when needed. Every  occurrence of NEST 51 supports one or more charities related to its respective theme.
